To the Crusade which was not promoted….or anything…

This is on foothills of Mt. Elgon….one east of UGANDA BORDER….
This is the place where Dorcas was raised….
Her grandfather lives on this Mtn…….she was thrilled to see him.

To see Deb ENGAGE with the children…dancing with them….
To watch the “worship UNFOLD……
First our churches worship team / Swahili….
Then Deb sings – ” The More I Seek YOU”  
  Their faces…..were in a trance….and then spiritually engaged….
Then Deb and the worship team sang the songs they practiced
“Blessed Be Your Name + Trading My Sorrow”
    
Deb said, ” I have waited to be here since I was 12 “….
The moments are being captured reverently by Gretchen…
and YES…..it is ” game on ”

Deb played the Samaritan women…sitting with a cup
Andrew played Jesus…I read from His Word ~ John 4….
Took a cup to a man,  he drank from it then I….
Jesus CHOSE to go to Samaria….Jesus CHOSE to come to KIMONDO…

A drunk came….to get saved….DRUNK…blown out drunk
Deb sang her solo again…..
“Drink from the cup from Your hand….”

We then went to ” Trading our sorrows…”
We were dancing with the drunks as everyone started to laugh..
WE STOPPED….” wait, wait…is this any different than the Samaritan Woman ?”

The eyes of the drunk we will never forget when he
rose from the ground bawling to GOD….and asked me to read
( could barely understand his slurred speach)
” John 11: 25….John 11:25 ….I am the resurrection and the life”

Needless to say we had a ride home in the van like we had been
@ church camp…..it is GOD who draws all men unto HIMSELF….
