I have been trying to set some short term goals to get to LONG TERM results !
I know the winter will fly…the spring will come…and it will be “game time” too soon !

One goal =  for God to give me a Name for His School in Liyavo/ Kenya !
So, I try to go into ” creative Janelle mode “…. to no avail.
I went to the Bible….. Chosen ? ……………….yeah, but nahhhh.
They are children…Chosen by God….but it has to sound like a School !

Earlier, I went to my bookshelf….looking for a book that was instrumental …
in my marriage….to no avail.
But, I found , Neil T. Anderson’s ~  Daily Discipler….
A bookmark………. so I read that page just for ” what does God have for me?”

There it was :  ” SHEMA…..SHEMA……SHEMA ”
( really Grandma, really ? )

Shema is the Hebrew word for ” hear”,  and it means to hear as to obey…….
It was recited daily by the Jews.

Deut. 6: 4 – 9   Love the Lord thy God with all your heart and with all you soul
and with all your strength.  These commandments that I give you today
are to be upon your hearts.  Impress them on your children.  Talk about them
whent you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down
and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on
your forehead.  Write them on the doorframes of your houses and your gates.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves…..Do what it says.
His living Word transforms lives.
His living Word is to set us free.

This is our missions desire…..this is it….
For the children of His school, to hear, to learn, to study…God’s Word.
BUT…BUT….BUT……
” to hear as though to obey”
” to hear as though to obey”

If as little children they are taught not only how to study the Word of God…
If as little children they are taught how to obey the Word of God….
What will they do when they are older ?
They will reach their nation…..they will reach the world for JESUS CHRIST.
