The ” pestering” of satan……..
   all night, just ” wrestled” …….
   then to hear someone preaching on  T.V. this a.m. on
   the continual wrestling….
   that Satan is defeated…….

Then even before church started….
  just in the ” pre prayer time”…
  the ” warm up laps””   smile
  gettin’ the spiritual tires warmed up…….

It was ad if God ,took my chin with His hand and turned it…
    Turned it  “just a bit”……
    to where  ~ yep …..
    I was looking back to His face…
    Back to His unconditional love in His eyes
    Back to just His relationship, His desire for just me…
    Back to HIM ALONE.

No hoops to jump through – JESUS….

It doesn’t take MUCH…..
   for us to turn our eyes OFF of HIM alone
   It doesn’t take much for me….to even in my thinking…
   ” what was I suppose to get out of that experience…”
   ” what did I do wrong…what was meant by ….”

Even spiritually thinking…we ~ ” put so much effort/ time…” 

And all HE wants….
And all WE need….
   Is to :   ” Turn our eyes upon JESUS….
                    look into HIS wonderful face……
                    and the things of earth shall grow strangely DIM…
                   in the light of HIS glory and grace.”

What is distracting us right now…..
seriously ?
It can even be a  ” ministry thing”….
  a ” doing thing”  that we think, we think we are doing for HIM…
but the “doing  ~ is taking”
   maybe it is a person that you are trying so hard for their approval..
  that your head turns more to wonder what they think…
           your head turns more to wonder if they seen this or that…

 It can go into the ” trying so hard to please God”…
  Does our trying put our eyes onto ourselves ?

Again….
     the slightest turn
     let Him take HIS hand…on your chin….
    and gently…..( not like a chiropractor)
    but gently turn it back into HIS EYES…

where there is no ” hoops”
                              no ” approval stickers”

just the sincerity of JESUS…
    He already gave us all….in HIS DEATH…..
   that is enough to never take our eyes off of HIM ALONE.

In His resurrected life…
  It gives us the power…
  to live with our eyes to Him alone………..

I pray this week…..
   I don’t turn my head……
