Departure – 7:25 p.m. CMH
Taking from our church praying over us ….
A person to my back right prayed :
” that we would do nothing in the flesh ”
” that we would do nothing in the flesh ”
it stuck.
I pray that this trip would be all IN HIS SPIRIT….
I pray that this trip would be all IN THE FULLNESS OF GOD
Lead by God….
Truly trying to prepare myself….spiritually….
Trying to read of the LIFE OF CHRIST…..
How God with a star….lead the wise men….
How through a dream…He told Joseph where to go and when.
As a Mom, I prayed that for Gabe and Marla
Tug and Angie
That God would tell them when to go, where to go….for Him.
As I got up before Rock did to go hunting…
I watched him prepare, take a shower with “NO SCENT”
Dress in his camo – head to toe
Get his BOW….and off he goes…waiting…….in his tree stand.
That is how I feel….waiting for this ” season ”
Tug called…” are you getting ready ? I know you aren’t sleeping”
I pray
I pray…I prepare as Rock does for his hunt….
I pray that I cover myself with the blood….
I pray that Deb, Bensons’ , the team and I do nothing
in the flesh and truly abide in and of the Spirit.
I pray this ” hunt ” ~ ” to seek and to save the lost”
is amazing…..and that our trophy on the wall…..
is just of God…. is humble and we are not seen….at all
is just of God….that HIS WORD is sharper than any
” two edged sword” …..
I pray for Gabe, Marla, Livi, Ava, and Nina
I pray for Tug, Angie, Morgan, Reese, and Tanner
I pray for Rock….
That HE guides them deeply…by a star, a dream, The Holy Spirit
He protects them with the blood of JESUS CHRIST….
My mission is no greater than theirs
as IS YOUR MISSION, we all ” are to walk with HIM….to be a
part of ” seeking and saving the lost, ministering to the poor,
loosing the chains of the bound and bringing the love and joy of
the LORD to whom ever, whom ever …we meet today”
I covet your prayers that we will do nothing in the flesh .
It is GOD who draws all men unto HIMSELF…
Amen and Amen. I’m going to steal that prayer for you great women of God and for my Son and his family. Will certainly miss you both. Love u much.
Janelle we will be praying for you all while you are on the field doing God’s work. Your church family will be backing you in prayer also. We love and will miss you both.
Btw sorry I was not there to see you off and we did not get together to get the item for Pastor Benson’s wife. Please greet them for us .

I had planned on stopping over to see you and give you a note to open each day. As you know, I didn’t make it. So I am going to write you the note each day on this website. Hopefully you can open it while you are in Africa.
Today’s Note:
As I was preparing these everyday notes for you to open each day while you are in Africa, I was reading my devotions and this scripture was in my devotion so I wanted to start off your trip with it.
John 14:2 “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”
I wonder what our rooms look like?!!!
May each person that you touch as you are in Africa have a room in our Father’s house also! My prayers will be with you each step of the way. I am so blessed to be able to say that I have had you in my life. Love ya, Jamie

My prayer for you Janelle is that any trial or opposition that you face today you will know that you are protected and God will work it for His will!
When we face trials and opposition in our service for the Lord, we should trust Him to protect us by His providence and to work out His sovereign plan for our lives. God “works all things after the counsel of His will.” Esp. 1:11

The following verse reminds me of your mother having those classes out of her home when I was a kid. Her teachings are a garland to your head and pendants for your neck. Her prayers have carried you to AFRICA!!!
Proverbs 1:8-9 “Hear my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching, for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.” Praying for you as you travel today to Kenya.
