I have had this saying, “ a POT STIRRER “ in my head
for a long time….

Reading this morning :

Reading : 2 Samuel 20:1
“ Now a troublemaker named Sheba son of Bicri,
happened to be there. He shouted, “ we have no
share in David, no part in Jesse’s son ! Every
man to his tent, O Israel! “

1. That God called a troublemaker a trouble…
maker, he “makes trouble “
2. The goal was to get individuals to turn
from the way that God wanted them to go…
to a different way.
3. The goal was to change their direction
and to follow him ( Bicri ) self motivated
, instead of sincere spiritual godly motivation.
4. He made NOISE….to get individuals attention,
other wise he would not have had their attention.
5. He shouted or yelled…. not a conversation
but a throwing of his opinion.
6. What he stirred, truth was NOT THE SOURCE.

Satan himself….got angels to turn….to go
his way, which was not God’s way….in a perfect
Heaven, there was a “ POT STIRRER “…..

There was only TRUTH in HEAVEN,
but satan found a way to TWIST THE TRUTH
to have human influence…. SELF MOTIVATION.

It was satan’s goal
It was satan’s life ambition
It was who he was and is…
and now he does it in all aspects of life.

SELF CHECK ….” AM I A POT STIRRER ? “
at points in time, I bet WE ALL ARE !

We are in a position and we want others to
see things OUR WAY and we try to sway them ?

IF IT IS TRUTH,
IF IT IS OF GOD …..
IF IT is from humility that we want others to
follow us to ~ LEAD THEM ~ “TO JESUS CHRIST….”
then blow the trumpet….but we never have
to SHOUT/ YELL, or get forceful in our opinion
because IT IS GOD THAT DRAWS ALL MEN UNTO HIMSELF.

HE WILL…let others SEE HIS WAY….
it is through love, understanding and discernment….

A POT STIRRER….doesn’t have a character of “ peace,
gentleness, kindness, self control….love, joy “

A desire of mine, that only through the GRACE of God…
is to not pick up, THE WOODEN STICK…..
and STIR THE POT…
to have others see my point of view
or hear my side….or way…
but rather, BE STILL, BE QUIET…and let God be GOD
LET GOD, “turn people, in the most gentle kind way, to
where it will have a lasting spiritual effect !

Sheba son of Bicri end – had his head thrown over the wall
ordered by a woman. ( vs. 22 )
Satan’s end – The Lake of Fire….

You can only “STIR THE POT” for a time…..

POT STIRRERS, if left to themselves – never ends well.

Personal Goal = take the Pot Stirring Wooden Spoon..
out of my own hand ,
by the grace and mercy and power of God…
and carry on…
at work…. take it out of our own hand, shhhhhh…
in the world…..take it out of our own hand, shhhhh….
in our family…..take it out of our own hand, shhhhhh….

BE STILL and KNOW, that I …AM GOD..

LET GOD BE GOD, HE STIRS RIGHTEOUSLY
HE STIRS JUSTLY
HE STIRS IN DEEP LOVE…
and it will draw them unto HIMSELF…

Drawing people unto “OUR SELF” does not give
them spiritual peace, spiritual joy, spiritual hope…
in The Name of JESUS……

Am I a POT STIRRER ?
