Writing this as unto myself……

I filled out a form yesterday of “ministry application “
The question was something like,
“what do I consider success in my ministry ?”

So, then take it even further….
ask ourselves …”What will I consider success in my life “
Am I EFFECTIVE…to me success is only success if I have an
“EFFECT”…..What “EFFECT am I having on others ?
What “EFFECT is my ministry having in the world ?”

God speaks to me from HIS WORD..

Acts 14:1
“ AT Iconic Paul and Barnabas went “as usual” into
the Jewish Synagogue.
There they SPOKE SO EFFECTIVELY that a GREAT NUMBER of
Jews and Gentiles BELIEVED.”

1. Paul and Barnabas went as USUAL….this is “how they lived”
It was in their DNA….to share the gospel so full of
Jesus, so full of the HOLY SPIRIT…that others
turned to JESUS and not to themselves……their LIFE
was about JESUS CHRIST …period.
2. It was for all….JEWS and GENTILES….who ever God puts
in front of YOU…..we give them JESUS.
3. THEY SPOKE SO EFFECTIVELY, what is in you, will come
out….what is in you, is all that will come out.
There is a verse in the Bible ( Jeremiah 5:14 ) that
God will put HOLY FIRE on our words….. FIRE…HOLY FIRE.
That what we say will burn off the chaff….. will nail
the truth as truth. But, it has to be HOLY – FIRE, amen ?
4. It is God that draws ALL men unto HIMSELF…so if Paul
and Barnabas spoke and many were saved ? Who is in them,
who came out ? JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS…..
The draw…..in Paul and Barnabas….was the magnet of
JESUS CHRIST…..period, it is THE ONLY reason…that
they were “SPIRITUALLY EFFECTIVE “
5. What is our definition of “being effective today ?”
In our family – to JESUS
In our friends – to JESUS
In our business adventures – to JESUS
in our work – to JESUS
in our ministry – to JESUS
in our RETREAT….. TO JESUS …seriously.
in our LIVES we live daily, to our spouse, our home –
to JESUS
6. EFFECT – EFFECT – EFFECT – EFFECT….we ARE…
having an EFFECT on others….
a DRAWING TO JESUS CHRIST
a turning away from JESUS CHRIST

our worldly things should still draw others to JESUS
it is our tool…..
our talk…..
our home…..
our conversations……
Stand under the shower of The HOLY SPIRIT…
Spend it being filled by JESUS CHRIST…..
Spend it with HIM……deeply…..
GET so FULL so that when “ your as usual day “
will be that…..
“ a great number believed “.
