Haggai 2 : 15 – 23

Haggai urged the people to remember
the renewed Temple construction was
the BEGINNING of PRESENT BLESSING.

The past disobediences of our lives…
do not determine
our ” now – present, blessings of God ”

The Word said, ” TO GIVE CAREFUL THOUGHT”
to ” set your heart “….
when they started to LAY THE FOUNDATION
of the construction of the TEMPLE… NOW.

They were to LOOK BACK….6 months….
and what all THAT, had brought :
drought
emptied barns
little harvest
no seed

But NOW God was telling them…
going FORWARD…
” FROM THIS DAY I/ GOD will BLESS YOU ”

Because of their CHOICE
To be obedient to CHRIST ALONE
to CONTINUE IN – the REBUILD
of how GOD wanted their lives….

Our salvation = is our choice
Our obedience to God = is our choice

With deep divine choices to obey GOD
With deep divine choices to :
” build ground up WITH GOD ”
” build ground up FOR GOD ”
it said, we will….
EXPERIENCE GOD’s BLESSING.

* ” give careful thought ”
” set our hearts ”
” choose to build ground up WITH HIM ”

our past is our past…..
From the first block now laid to
REBUILD
this TEMPLE for the LORD…..
the past blocks of previous generations
the past blocks of previous sins….
was NOT LAID at all, in the ” REBUILD ”

and they, “EXPERIENCED THE BLESSINGS OF GOD”

The beginning of PRESENT BLESSINGS…..
are about to be experienced…..
brick by brick….
we need to make ~
not good choices
but
God choices……
