” ……so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.”

5.  ” can I not do with you as the potter does?”

It talked about how the clay was marred…and so he took it and  made it into
another pot…
( wow,  a complete other POT ?
What would we do, if God took our day, week , YEAR…
and RE – MOLDED IT COMPLETELY ?)
for what seemed ~ best to Him.

Kind  of shoots the whole concept of ~ ” but, I had in my mind”….

Rock works in casting…where Honda has the dies all set,
the aluminum is melted…..and then poured into a distinct cast.
One that is SET.

Today…
This week….
This year……..

What do we have set in our minds that we think is best…
Best for ourselves…our children….our ministry….what ever ?

” Can I ~ GOD….not do withYOU as this potter does”

What type of hands does God have ?
( all spiritual……totally God hands )

Think of it…HIS HANDS….
Divine, wise, all knowing, all powerful….amazing…
The sinless spiritual hands of God….
wrapped around our own personal lives….

Our lives:

Marred by our selfishness….marred by our flesh…
Marred by our sin….and humanity…
we even go into ~  marring others…trying to do for them-
what “we think” is best for their lives…
and can we pause at the “why of that ?”

is that so that their lives will ~ accent our lives better ?

God , today,  take this 53 year old – Lump of  Clay…..
do with it what YOU GOD….
YOU GOD my Potter, desires…..

What YOU think  is best for  YOUR KINGDOM…..
Help me to take the blood of JESUS CHRIST over my own
fleshly desires so that the clay is soft,
and will be molded by YOU….Holy, Righteous God.
