This next week….we will be closing our cabin in Quincy, Ohio…
  I guess I could sum up the summer with one word =

               WORK

We have stripped off asbestos, resided, added a deck, a new porch roof….
Log sided the front, painted, cleaned by hand 50 million pieces of siding, bleached
our skin off, literally…etc.    ( with the heat this summer & sweat…Africa will seem cool !)

so – there was the  “physical work” 
   ( God protected Rock on the ladder  ~ lodged on a rock, etc.  countless days )
   thank YOU JESUS !

Then , this summer….I have to say….
   as I have seen on – Mission Trips to Germany….. 
   what patience does in the line of relationships……

Yesterday someone came up the steps….
   ended up pulling up a chair – yep, we talked about JESUS CHRIST
                                                               for over an hour…..
I seen Rock,  not care about getting the roof finished and God speaking
  through him….
I have seen the ” reason of the RIVER”  –
I have seen the “reason of the physical work , that has brought people to look
   and to talk, which might not of happened.
I have seen the hurting and the needy….
 I have seen the hungry and the desire to know HIM, 
   to know HIM…not us….

Is it Germany – Africa ?
No –  it is Quincy , OHIO…………..
   
Our lives………I told a friend, ” I have no clue what I am doing”
   to the world – it is nothing-( sometimes to me )…no income…no title, no desk,
  no nothing……….
   but it is like I don’t want to leave it…

Because everyday, every year, every season…..more come…more desire…
   more want to hear about JESUS CHRIST….
Not once have I initiated the conversation…………… seriously.
   The presence of GOD…is all about HIS SPIRITUAL ,DIVINE…. presence
  HE DRAWS THEM UNTO HIMSELF……

 HE DRAWS THEM….so we close the cabin…and now the new season begins…

Rock deer hunting, cutting wood….Greeting at Church…. smile 
    ( he cracks me up…how he loves the people into God’s house….
      I LOVE IT….. from camo to a suit jacket….smile )
Me to Africa….some Bible studies, Teens For Christ in Perry, Chaplain…….

I love our life…..nothing to “write about”…
  but I pray names are being written in the Lambs Book of LIFE…
 a kid from Perry…I pray someone from the cabin some day….

now off to the dentist !  maybe there ?  smile.
