Morning as usual…… Devo’s…..see what you guys are doing…

Sandy Rufener is the first to wake up….smile….

Shower from a tub….. nice, nice HOT water though….
Then to study….. what ever….
Go to the road to get some bottle water….they ask to come to the USA w/ me..
Yell MUZUNGU…..a few 20 times….smile…

THEN the torrential  DOWN POUR…..from 2- 4:45   ….
Parenting meeting to start at 3:00….that is 4:00 – 4: 30  AFRICAN TIME…smile
We call Benson, wait, only a few are here…
Calls back  COME…it takes me 26 minutes on dry paths….to get there 2.5 miles
Gloria and I, gum boots on and off….. sloshing, slipping, sliding…
HERE COMES THE POWER POLE BRIDGE…3 poles laid acrossed a deep ditch…
water running…and the POLES are like someone GREASED  them…

What in the world……

We almost ran there….we get there….doors locked….of church,
They slowly come from the house…..
We have 28 minutes before we need to leave..to head back…
to be home before dark….

Good group..of parents…
Spoke on Moses’ Mom…seeing in his life….hiding 3 months…
putting him right “IN” what was killing every other boy..
but it did not kill hers…..knowing the will of God for your children…

Abraham and Isaac, the spiritual relationship they had together, with GOD…
That Isaac knew Abraham’s relationship with God so much,….
that he walked right behind him up the hill….

The whole TRAIN up a child….what it means to TRAIN..a child for the LORD…
When are they ” trainable…..how do we train them….w/ the WORD, w/ prayer…
IN OUR HOMES….we alone….alone will stand before God…for each
one of our children and how we raised them up for HIM…. in our home.

I could see….it was getting pretty much DARK…..so off we closed.
w/ the sound of parents, praying in Swahili….asking, committing to the LORD…
They train them well to work here….
4 yr. olds…caring maize…..I am talking smaller than Tanner….Nina…
Carrying huge arm loads…….
I asked them, will they have to answer to God for how they trained them work ?

We either Parent Naturally….. or Parent Spiritually……in the natural….?

Then the gum boots took off….
WE got to the bridge before it got ” REALLY DARK”…..what in the world.
But the mud….holes….little divits….hills….not so much…
My bed never looked so good…
