Reading this morning…..
2 Thess. 2: 3
” Don’t let anyone deceive you in this way, ”

* it goes on to talk about the end times, Jesus’ return….

How the deceiver will do this :
1. He will oppose JESUS CHRIST
2. He will exalt himself over everything that is called God
3. He will exalt himself over everything that worships God
4. So, that he sets himself up…. in God’s temple…
5. He then wants to take the roll of GOD HIMSELF.

He will be revealed in his proper time. vs. 6

God does not, will not let the game of deception go on …..
He can’t, for He alone is and can only BE TRUTH.

in vs. 7 – It is called ” the secret power of lawlessness ”

* the back door, we don’t see it, for it is deceiving …..

God sees what is going on …..in the world
God sees what is going on ….. in our lives
HE ALONE IS GOD !

He sees what satan is doing, the chess pieces
being moved in the world, in our lives…

He then says in vs. 8

” And then the lawless one will be revealed ”

There is going to be an ” AND THEN – TIME “…
( are you praying for and asking for the AND THEN TIME ? )

When satan in the WORLD will be REVEALED….
How many times have you said, ” how can they not see it ? ”
in all that is happening in the world ?

It is the secret power of deception…..
but every game has an end…..
the game of deception in our lives
the game of deception in the world…will have an end.

vs. 8 cont. ”
” And the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord JESUS
WILL overthrow with the ( I love this ) ….
BREATH of HIS MOUTH…..
the BREATH OF HIS MOUTH !!!!

** all it takes is ONE BREATH of JESUS CHRIST and BAM.
GAME OVER.

vs. 8 ” by the splendor of HIS COMING ”

Here is the clincher – the start of all DECEPTION =

vs. 10
” THEY PERISH…because they REFUSED to LOVE THE TRUTH…
and so be saved.”

sad but true….in every situation,
IT STARTED WITH and IN OUR SALVATION…..

The choice = to refuse truth and be deceived by satan
to love truth and be saved….

That is the choice in every situation….
chose truth, and JESUS WILL SAVE US…
for eternity
for this day

I myself, have to in every situation, ask JESUS CHRIST..
please SHOW ME, JANELLE The truth….
THE ACTUAL GOD VIEWED , GOD KNOWN TRUTH !
And then empower me to live by that TRUTH…
TRUSTING YOU JESUS CHRIST……TRUSTING….

vs. 13
“But we ought always to THANK GOD for you, ….
GOD CHOSE YOU….GOD CHOSE YOU….. GOD CHOSE YOU.”

Without GOD, HIM choosing us….
WE would not even, be ABLE to see and desire and
live in TRUTH….. WE would only have the fleshly ability
to live in continually~ the spirit of deception….
but GOD, JESUS, The HOLY SPIRIT gives us the ability
to not let ” the secret power…BE A SECRET ”

Today, I ask GOD….
LET ME….. see only truth, speak only truth, hear only
truth and live only truth….
It is in the Word,
through the Word that we can gauge….
What is truth.

VS. 16
“May our LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF
GOD our FATHER
who loved us ( all )
and by HIS GRACE, gave us ETERNAL
encouragement of GOOD HOPE….
encourage your hearts
strengthen you…
in every good deed and word.”

WE only have one resource to live in truth….
JESUS CHRIST.
