2…..” so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they
may KNOW the mystery of God, namely Christ, 3. in whom are hidden all the treasures of
WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE. 4.  I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by
FINE – SOUNDING arguments.”

Complete Understanding =  insight – which comes from complete yielding..

** amazing how people who think they know it all do not have a very yielding spirit.

If we do not have a ” yielding spirit”  to learn from others….
Are we really going to have a ” yielding spirit ”  to God ?
or …do we have a “yielding spirit” to God ~  to prove ?

~  SHOW ME….so I CAN SHOW….I AM RIGHT ?

* so critical to impart this in childrens lives, to be yielding, teachable…etc.

This yielding helps us to KNOW CHRIST FULLY…..
To know Christ…. to know God = to know Christ we ” have to yield”

The hidden treasure –  Wisdom and Knowledge
again –  not us at all….but HIS wisdom , HIS knowledge… alone.

Wisdom = the ability to apply what you know……” ouch ” !

Spiritual wisdom to the world is foolishness
Spiritual wisdom in our lives is the power of God received + lived…..

This wisdom, keeps us from being deceived by :
” FINE SOUNDING ARGUMENTS”…..

When was the last time someone said something that just didn’t sit w/ you.
So,  you ask GOD……” give me divine wisdom, divine understanding, divine insight”

fine sounding arguments = persuasive speech…
uses what could seem to be true,
but is false.

Truth and persuasive ~~ do not always go together.
False  Argument can persuade

FULL + COMPLETE TRUTH.
Comes from being humble before God
Comes from being open to be taught by God , Holy Spirit and others
Comes from HIS WORD, HIS SPIRIT who reveals the spiritual truth

** He tells us to ” ask for wisdom”

Which shows a spirit of  ” yielding ”
Which shows a spirit of  ” wanting to listen”
Which shows an open spirit to ” others ”

We shall know the TRUTH…and the TRUTH will set us free.

Freedom….true freedom comes through a ” yielding spirit”
Freedom from self, freedom from proving, freedom from protecting…..
Freedom = open mind, open heart, open hands, open life to Who ?

JESUS CHRIST alone…..in that is the mystery of GOD found…in Christ.

Do we live our life for the LORD to be heard ?
Do we live our life for the LORD to hear from HIM ?
