Many of us truly want to do this and that with our lives….
Wewant even big things spiritually, ministry….destiny’s….etc.

Our Pastor Made a list of  what :

What HE DID =  was HIS MINISTRY
What HE TAUGHT =  was HIS IDENTITY

What we do    and     Who we are
Our Doing                     Our Character…..

Many want to do great things for the LORD….
but we don’t want to develop our character.

Many want to speak and preach and teach….
but few want the divine character that should be lived…
out from the pulpit…..
Many want to sing in front of….
but their character behind walls…..
Many want to ___________fill in the blank.
But few want to _____________fill in the blank

Oh we think we ought to sit right up there with the best of them…
” Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at YOUR
right and the other at your left in your Kingdom.”  Matt 15: 21

” YOU don’t know what you are asking, ” Jesus said to them.
” Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?” Matt. 15: 22

” who ever wants to become GREAT among you must be….
YOUR SERVANT.”  who ever want to be first must be…
YOUR SLAVE.

This hit home…HIT HOME….
Taking care of Dad….( just getting a call write before I
typed this to run down to his house….)  smile…
I am doing this to my DAD…..but I am a servant
TO  + FOR JESUS CHRIST….”YOUR- – –  SERVANT”

When we ” get this”…….as unto the LORD….
It doesn’t matter if it is a 5 yr. old grandchild…
It doesn’t matter if it is your 10 yr. old child….
It doesn’t matter if it is someone you adore…..
Or someone that pushes your button…..

God desires us to be LIKE CHRIST…
HE did, JESUS DID , what HE DID FOR GOD…TO GOD…
100% unto GOD alone…..

The CUP with JESUS’ name on it…….
We want to do ministry with HIS  NAME ON IT ?
how is our character with our children, grandchildren,
husbands, wife,  Parents, neighbors….friends……

What is our pure motives, clean heart…thot process…..
Servant / Slave =  death to self
Character is a daily to weekly to monthly to yearly.
Character is not a ” season”…..it is your life.

People see, know, read our character…..
it is something that doesn’t come and go…..
and until….” hearing this tonite again on TBN “….

Until God sees that our character is built….
to where we can humbly handle the roll of our calling.

Our car may be in PARK…….
The calling is too great for us to move now and screw it up
for the sake of HIS NAME…..
” you don’t know what you are asking ?”
” Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?”

God knew JESUS’ character would withstand the trial….
God knows when our character will match our calling….
and until then ?   I have to learn deeply…..

Become a servant / slave unto GOD ALONE…..
” the call at 9:00 ”  God sees my heart, my character…..
HE knows what HE alone is preparing me for…
My character is being developed…..
I have to learn to do it all, ” as unto the LORD “
