49   Going once to Jesus, Judas said,
“Greetings, Rabbi!”  and kissed him.

50.   Jesus replied,  ” Friend,  do what you came for.”

I LOVE….how JESUS  ~  calls him out…..
I LOVE…how JESUS ~  gets to the point….
I LOVE…how JESUS ~  calls him Friend….and yet says….

I know, I know what you are up to….
quit the mockery ….and get on with it.

Jesus called him Friend =  ” hetaire”  =
( used only 3 times in NT )
” companion or associate”

Jesus relationship with us =  no mockery
our relationship with him =  he knows…he knows our true heart…

Why do we spend time in His Word….
Why don’t we spend time in His Word….

Why do we feel we ” have to pray”
Why do we not pray more ?
Do we truly desire a real non mockery relationship with JESUS CHRIST….?

Or when we walk up to Him, JESUS CHRIST…to be with HIM…
in worship, in church,  alone at home, in our cars…..

are we looking at JESUS like Judas……
we call him  ” Greetings Rabbi”…..smile…
but in our hearts…?

Would Jesus respond to us……w/ our genuine attitude of who HE IS TO US ?

” FRIEND…… ( I love you ____________ )
but,  do what you came for…….

zip through our time together
sit and mouth the worship
do – do – do …but no desire to be with me……
