Watching Creflo Dollar this week speak on these has had a HUGE impact on me :

1 Thess. 5 : 23

” May your whole
1. spirit
2. soul
3. body…..be kept blameless at he coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Heb. 4: 12
” For the WORD OF GOD is living and active Sharper than any double edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing  soul and spirit, joints and marrow, it judges the thoughts
and attitudes of the heart.”

Picture the 3  –
1.  your body the flesh =  believes the things of the flesh alone….
if a ball is coming at you….your flesh sees it and ducks.
if your flesh is hungry…your flesh believes it and eats….

( what is going on in the flesh , around the flesh right now….in your life…
that your flesh is adhering to…believing….joining with ? )

2.  your soul =   Mind , Will, Intellect –  sensations, appetites,  passions,
feelings, understandings, reasonings, …etc.

( this can be swayed either way….it can go and adhere to the flesh….
it can go and adhere to your spirit…… )

In your relationship with your spouse…husband or wife …
if something happens……in the flesh…and your soul..emotions, feelings, etc.
join tightly with your flesh and you put your flesh back up next to your spouse…

what is going to happen ?
Out of the flesh ?????
How does satan use our flesh ?
How do we give in …..and believe, and then our soul adheres to the flesh…

it is always a 2  to 1….
it is always   2   to 1….  either   flesh and soul….
either soul and spirit….

What is your soul adhering to ?

3.  our spirit – Gen. 1: 27   ( we are made in the image of _____  GOD….
God is a spirit……HE breathed into us and gave us life….
if is our spirit…in us…… He deposits HIS HOLY SPIRIT in us
at the point of salvation )

John 4: 24
” God is a spirit, and they who worship HIM must worship Him in spirit and in truth”

our spirit….connects with HIS SPIRIT….
our spirit believes , understands through the HOLY SPIRIT, the things of the spiritual…

It is what is in us…..that when we read HIS WORD….the   ahhh haah   moment occurs
It is when we are listening to HIS WORD taught…the ahh hah  moment occurs

The Word of God is what is on earth…..to FEED our spirit….
The Word of God cuts through the flesh…..
The Word of God cuts through our soul…..

If we do not feed the spirit within us…….
If we do not strengthen, stir…believe…..the WORD OF GOD as HIS CREED of who HE IS
If we do not grab, regard it for what it is GOD BREATHED…GOD BREATHED….
our spirit believes the things of the SPIRIT
our flesh believes the things of the flesh…

our soul  chooses………………………………
our soul chooses …..what to adhere to.

back to our spouses –  if we put our spirit…..up next to our spouse
then the soul
on the outside coming along is the flesh……..

What will happen….?

Our flesh will come under…authority of The Spirit, our spirit, our soul….GOD.

WE will respond in the flesh…out of the spirit/ Spirit / Truth…..
We will not let our FLESH respond first.

What part does satan…hit….=  the flesh
What part should JESUS EXPOUND THROUGH =  the spirit
What part should adhere to the things of the SPIRIT ?  = our soul…..

How do we walk in the spirit  w/ THE HOLY SPIRIT ?

Feed our spirit with the WORD OF GOD…..as TRUTH…..
Walk in the SPIRIT on earth in the flesh…….

Why pick up, read,  grab hold, believe, devour HIS WORD….
HE knew – we are fearfully and wonderfully made….to glorify HIM…

HOW ON EARTH ?      HIS WAY…in spirit and in truth.
