Jer 29:11
” For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says the LORD;
purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Today….I went to our cabin in Quincy, Ohio…..
One goal :   to blow the wet thick , some dry ….leaves…..
Start at the top of the hill…. and continue til you are FINISHED….

It always amazes me…how you get hooked on cleaning an area of leaves…
And the great feeling of getting it finished….sounds stupid , but I LOVE IT.
When I got to our rock/ flower beds…..I uncovered…..
Uncovered….the bright green leaves of Iris’.  jonquils.   daffodiles.

They had been under the ground waiting for the ” RIGHT TIME.”
They had been covered by leaves to protect from the cold winter.
They had been covered by leaves laying flat, waiting for someone to uncover them.
They had been waiting….

It excited me to go from one flower bed to the other, for fear I would run out of time.
Thankful I went down today…..so they could start to stand straight…
Prepare for the sun to hit them…..and BLOOMING  WOULD START…
The anticipation of what they will be….look like…
The beauty and smell….of how GOD created them to be !
The timing ~ of spring…..is HERE NOW.

Made me think:
a.   what has been covered in your life ?
b.  what has been laying flat , waiting to be uncovered to stand ?
c.  what has been protected or kept under til this right moment of GOD ?
d.  God knew when….and for the beauty to come out in this for you.
e.  And it is HIS SON….that will bring it to “bloom time”…..that is destined.

Why ?   He planted the bulb in you….in the core of who you are.
It is HIS gift to His world to draw all men unto HIM….in that beauty
inside of you.

I almost forget what flowers I plant every year……
Sometimes…we forget what our truest desire is ….to give to God…
and THEN…..it sprouts…it is uncovered….and God brings it to be.

For HIS GLORY ALONE.
For HIS KINGDOM ALONE.

He did not keep the bulbs underground for a punishment….but a purpose.
