Driving to get my Aunt Margy, in Chicago…
with her daughter Rita in the passenger seat…
We were on the TURNPIKE….
in a dead stop…from an accident ahead.
Semi in front of us, dead stop…
Semi in back of us HIGH RATE OF SPEED…

I look in my rear view mirror….
A semi is FLYING upon us….
I seen his head turn from looking DOWN…
To LOOKING UP + SEEING US…

I literally – thot NOTHING….
I heard his breaks just grabbing and grabbing…
He ended up BESIDE US….
Thru the passenger side I was looking UNDER..
the middle of HIS TRAILOR.
( he also stopped feet from a guard rail,
which would of FLIPPED HIM onto us , or the
other way ? )
Told Rita , ” Guess it is not our time ” smiled.

Not coming to stay at the camper for a while….
I knew the MICE had taken up shop….
I usually get up, make Rock and I’s breakfast…
Omelet…etc.
Should of TURN ON THE GAS STOVE – RIGHT AWAY…
Pam called and we had our usual GOD TALK…
so ” cooking waited “…
Rock went out and MOWED RIGHT AWAY….
I had time to “clean out everything ”

THE GAS STOVE HAD A BUCKET…
A BUCKET of ” q-tip cotton, and toilet paper cotton ”
IF…I would of LIT the STOVE…..
?????????
