This verse ALONE…..
This verse ALONE……

Takes any part of our “doing”  out- gone – nonexistant…with GOD.

We love HIM…..because HE FIRST….HE FIRST loved us !
 We….can’t do anything GOOD enough for HIM to love us
 We…can’t do anything BAD enough for Him not to love us.

WE can only love HIM….because HE – loved – us – first.
   sole basis of our relationship with GOD –     HIM
   soul basis of our relationship with JESUS CHRIST ?   – HIM
   sole basis of any part of life in CHRIST ? – – – HIM

Earthly relationships exist out of what ?   What can you do for me ?
    What will I benefit out of my relationship with you ?
          If we are with you…..in that moment, what are my desires ?   me !
Our earthly relationships are so many times….geared out  – – FROM SELF.

I feel like this when I – I am with them…so I like being with them…
I don’t like this about that person ….so I chose not to be with them…..

But with JESUS……with JESUS….
    HE CHOSE US……FIRST…

And what do we have to offer HIM ?  GOD ?
    Did His wanting to be with us…..was it out of “what would HE get ?”
Not at all, 
    In fact to have a relationship with HIM……HE would have to DIE.
   
Who today can we chose to love……with nothing in return….just love them.
    If we are going to show the world, our neighbors
   If we are going to show our husbands…our wives…
  If we are going to show our children…. in our home….JESUS CHRIST
