In our lives…..in our own lives….are we not daily taken to the place..
of :

” If YOU TRULY ARE ? ”   seriously…..

Matt. 4: 1
” Then JESUS was lead by The Spirit into the desert to be tempted”

so God led him there……
my mind goes to a soccer practice and you are the coach and
you have the kids kick from 10 ‘ out, then you move it to 20 ‘

” can you make it from there ?  Is it luck or skill   ? Do you
truly have it ” IN YOU”  …..under pressure what will you do ? ”

So God led JESUS there to show HIM, to show Satan…..
This satan is who YOU TRULY ARE
THIS JESUS CHRIST IS WHO YOU TRULY ARE….

In our own personal lives, we aren’t led to the desert…
but we are led to a person who drives us nuts…
a place of work that has trials….
a marriage situation…..
a family situation…..
and with what is going on in the U.S.  today…..

it shows …who we truly are !

It is to a point of decision…..
Will I choose to be ” who I truly am in Christ …”

Will I stay true to what HE DIED TO GIVE ME….
All of JESUS in me…all power, all wisdom, all freedom, all love,
all discernment ,all insight, all glory , ALL…ALL….ALL…

or will I be less…and choose my flesh ?
In that circumstance ?  ( just heard gunshots ! )

Each situation with individuals is our ” desert decision ”
Choose God ?
Choose Satan ?

React in the flesh?
Respond in the Spirit ?

Today I asked God to help me to ” hit the button on stop ”
To my flesh, to my feelings ….
JESUS WAS HUNGRY….His flesh was crying ”  cave, cave, cave ”
But HIS SPIRIT ?

Satan , ” If you are the Son of God ?”

that is the point….a person says something to you…
are decision is … ” if you truly are….Christlike ?”
a situation is wearing….” if you truly are…who you say you are ?”

The ” desert point “….we choose….

Jesus , ” IT IS WRITTEN ”  =  respond by what it says in HIS WORD…

Live by what it says in HIS WORD…..
It is the lack of WHO HE IS
It is the lack of HIS WORD….that makes us cave in the desert point.

Just my thots…..
The lack of JESUS in the schools….
but more so….more so…
THE LACK OF JESUS IN OUR HOMES…..
we can’t throw it to the schools,
before we answer for our own 4 walls.

Are we praying with our children ?
Are we reading HIS WORD with our children ?
Are we covering them with the blood of JESUS ?
” IF YOU ARE…..then HE will be real to the fullest in our homes ”

True protection isn’t carrying a gun…
It is being covered by the blood before they walk out our doors…..
It is letting the Word of God be real in their lives……
to change the culture….we need to make it a focus……
to go deep with JESUS with our kids,

” if you truly are “…..are we teaching…” who HE TRULY IS “..
that goes beyond knowledge….reading, memorizing….it goes to LIVING….

You shall  ~ KNOW ~  the Truth…if we KNOW it, we live it……
it shall set us free.
