2 Thess. 1: 12
” We  pray this so that the name of our LORD JESUS may be glorified in you…..”

The name of   JESUS……
say it :  JESUS…….
Think of HIM…..JESUS.
The manger……JESUS.
The cross………JESUS.
The tomb………JESUS.

The one who healed…..JESUS
The one who loved….each child, widow, hurting…….JESUS.
The one who is coming back…….JESUS.

God’s glory manifested in us.
God’s glory manifested through us to others……

The glory of God ~  through us, you ~ me….
Today,  Dec. 15, 2011….

His desire to each person we think about, talk to, or touch.
The ones we love…..HIS GLORY.
The ones that we struggle with …..HIS GLORY.
The ones that we do not know , today….HIS GLORY.

Our lives are not for ourselves……we have the Holy Spirit in us….
WE have JESUS CHRIST in us….for one reason……for HIS GLORY, not ours.

To our own children….our own husband……our own grandchildren…..HIS GLORY.
In our home….HIS GLORY.

In our church home….HIS GLORY….our church family….HIS GLORY
To those we meet….not our flesh
Those we work with….not our flesh….

HIS GLORY…..manifested…..coming out through us to others…..

Do you sit in that long enough to receive it yourself…
HIS GLORY IN YOU…..

You don’t have to plug that in……for it to shine…
That light isn’t on strings…..that light is not “fake”….or mustered…
or forced….that light comes only through one thing…

A genuine, true love of God more than self…..
We either let HIS GLORY SHINE brighter than ours…….
or we , selfishly……
Let our light, ourself, our flesh……cover HIS GLORY…

Today God, let me genuinely love YOU more than my self….
more than my flesh, more than my thots….
And God may YOUR LOVE…..and my love for YOU….
allow   YOUR GLORY shine…….radiate…to the lost….
radiate to my own family
radiate to the family of God
radiate to the lost and dying world….
I either want them to know me…
or want them to KNOW YOU……………

I chose YOU.
