one…week ….away !

The essence of the Retreat is on :
Humility
+
Surrendering…….

So those 2 are on the fore front of my mind
and heart….

THE OPPOSITE OF HUMILITY =

Matt. 27:31
“ After they had mocked Him ( JESUS CHRIST )
the pride it would take to mock JESUS CHRIST ?
~ asking myself that question with my own life

“After they had mocked Him, they took off
the robe ( mocking ~ saying HE WAS….KING )
but NOT MEANING it……laughing that HE would
think HE was….+ JESUS KNEW HE WAS….but …

( so JESUS showing ALL HUMILITY )

“After they had mocked Him, they took off
the robe and PUT HIS OWN CLOTHES ON HIM.”

Wow, really ?
* put a robe on Him …was enough to have that
much PRIDE…to put a robe on JESUS CHRIST….

* Jesus Christ, never wore a ROBE while He was on
earth….at all….HE could have, but He didn’t.

“PUT HIS OWN CLOTHES ON HIM “

~ what was that saying he that of himself ?
~ was he saying that he was a king, or as highly ?
~ lowering JESUS CHRIST to human standards…..
~ You, JESUS are no better than us ?

That took more PRIDE to put on his own clothes, to me.
Than it did to put the robe on JESUS CHRIST.

Bring it in our own lap :

1. Which do we do…. ????
a. Say HE is KING….worship, read, pray, go
to church….but then in our daily situations
we don’t KEEP HIM AS KING , seriously ?
( talking about the details of life…LORD OF LORDS
KING OF KINGS ? Pure motives, heart + mind ?
YES THAT KING….KING OF ALL, ALL, ALL

Not King over all the earth…
but KING over all our own being….
We desire Him to reach the nations, but not our own pride ?

2. Put our own clothes on JESUS CHRIST ?
Keeping Him at GROUND LEVEL…. so that we
do not have a FEAR OF GOD, a REVERENCE, a HOLY, HOLY
HOLY….so that we can keep Him as “us”…when
HE DESERVES…the HIGHEST PLACE OF ALL…
HE IS KING, HE IS KING, HE IS KING…..

Humility in our hearts…sees HIM AS KING….
sees HIM AS LORD OF LORDS

LET HIM WEAR today, what HE IS DESERVING OF…
What they did on that day ? Is on their plate
What we do with JESUS today ? tomorrow, next Tues. ?

Well, deep breath….Keep HIS ROBE, HIS CROWN,
YET HE DID NOT PARADE AROUND in HIS HOLINESS…..
HE JUST LIVED IT.

Easter is so amazing, so deep, so real !
