What ever you are doing in life……

“good”
family
friends…..what ever……
You put a lot of effort into it….
You put your heart and soul into those things…..
but you are not seeing the “ FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT”
but you are not seeing the “ THINGS OF GOD “
but you are not seeing the “KINGDOM results”

This is my grid that I go to…..
My first priority in all areas of my life…..
“ is to intentionally know God more than I know those things”

To be more concerned about Him and I,
Then me and the “others”…..because it will never
SPIRITUALLY WORK…any other way… plan, push, put into..

HIS WORD :
Acts 19:1 + 2
“ ….there he found some DISCIPLES and asked them, “Did
you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed.”

(Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth in this one verse to you.)

They answered, “No, we have not even heard that here is a Holy
Spirit.”

and it goes on to talk about being baptized in the baptism of
repentance…… this is a whole other topic…..
“so they were baptized into the name of the Lord JESUS.
When Paul laid hands on them, the HOLY SPIRIT came on them
, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.”

So there you have a deep movement of knowing God, God revealing
Himself to them in a deeper level….than just going through the
motions….just speaking and saying salvation, to receiving all
that comes with salvation….. and the imparting of the power of
the HOLY SPIRIT into and on the already “disciples of JESUS CHRIST”

** I just have to ask…..God saved you from hell, but through
that salvation He desires to empower you to be LIKE CHRIST on earth.
To be empowered to do the work that the LORD died for us to do.
The power to do the work the LORD rose to have us to do….
not only proclaiming through words WHO HE IS…
but through our lives LIVING THE POWER OF WHO HE IS…

READ all of ACTS 19
vs. 11 “God did EXTRAORDINARY miracles through Paul. 12.so
that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him
( Paul ) were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were
cured and the evil spirits left them.”

Paul’s “words” were persuasive, had spiritual power on them…
Paul’s touch had spiritual power , Kingdom activation on it….

Watch this :

Acts. 19:13
“ Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to INVOKE
the NAME of The Lord JESUS over those who were demon posessed.
They would say, “IN THE NAME OF JESUS, whom Paul preaches,
I command you to come out.”

** you can’t live off of someone else’ FAITH or relationship
with JESUS CHRIST.

vs. 15. “ One day, the EVIL SPIRIT answered them, “Jesus I know
and I know about Paul, but who are you ?” ( the man over took
and defeated the disciple and left him bleeding )

This chapter is so intense about the depth of who
GOD, JESUS CHRIST, HOLY SPIRIT….we can be saved from
HELL….but not living in the power of the Spirit.

We can be “doing things for the LORD, proclaiming
HIM….and yet, “not deeply know Him”…..

I want it all, talk about “spiritual GREED”
I want it all
I want ALL OF HIM,
I want HIM to do “extraordinary miracles through me”

We want our family to succeed, to do good in school,
sports. We want them to have friends, and have relationships
that exceed caring. We want our business to go off
the charts. We want our points of view to get through
to others. We want our finances to “do everything in
the markets power”…
But what about our salvation, the “ working out “
But what about our children’s spiritual lives ?
But what about our spiritual lives with JESUS CHRIST ?
Talk about the death and resurrection….?
Talk about HIS life in vain ?

For an evil spirit to KNOW THAT WE DON’T have all that
JESUS died to give us ? seriously….That is why
the evil spirit can play with us and know that he has
the upper hand, seriously, because even, ( since HIS WORD
said it ) an evil spirit can know THE LACK of our relationship
with JESUS CHRIST.

shaking my head….right now…at the depth of
the reality of our knowing JESUS – head knowledge…
being a disciple …and yet not having what Paul
deeply had…… God knew and an evil spirit knew.

Easter….take it deep.
