2 Samuel chapter 24 is deep.
It talks of God being angry with David….
about taking a census…..a man after God’s heart.

2 Samuel 24: 1
“ again the anger of the Lord burned against
Israel, and he incited David against them, saying,
Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.”

Chronicles 21: 1
“ Satan rose up against Israel and incited
David to take the census of Israel.”

In order for GOD to ACHIEVE…
HIS PURPOSE….
sometimes God permits satan to act.

Via – the Cross – killing JESUS CHRIST
brought our salvation…..

It can be refining
disciplining
purification of disobedience in a believer…..

God allowed satan to tempt David and David sinned.
period.
It revealed David’s pride and God dealt with David.

It could of been unwise counsel that David received to
take the census, David …..still did it.

David in his flesh….”own our own sin” amen ?

David knew it was wrong and begged God to take
away the GUILT of his own sin, 2 Samuel 24: 10

Then God gave David 3 punishments he could choose from :
3 years of famine
3 months of fleeing his enemies
3 days of plagues

He chose #3 and 70,000 men were killed

usually, always consequences for our choices ….

David asked that it would come onto him and his family…
God chose not to give a reason for HIS actions..

Psalm 18: 30
“ as for God , HIS WAYS are prefect “

What ever HE allows, HIS WAYS ARE PERFECT,
we can trust it,
because it is TRUTH.

The POINT of ALL this, that I LOVE…..
I LOVE and
it is sticking to me like TAR….

2 Samuel 24:16
“When the angel stretched out his hand to
destroy Jerusalem, the LORD….( THE LORD )_
was grieved because of the calamity and said to
the angel who was afflicting the people,

ENOUGH ! WITHDRAW YOUR HAND.”

There is going to be a TIME OF ENOUGH…
THERE is GOING TO BE….a TIME of ENOUGH.
THERE IS…going to BE…a time of ENOUGH.

What ever we are
What ever we have been
What ever we will go through…..

There will be an END to sin having dominion over.

God is sovereign in all things, all people….
and HE WILL SAY – “ ENOUGH “ ….

I pray that for you, for me, for the ones we love.
I pray that we repent of our own sins, when we know
we have done wrong…listened to the wrong spirit…
and we will have learned and God will say “ ENOUGH”
and then we can be clean in front of God…
and live in deep peace with the LORD.
HIS GRACE AND MERCIES are NEW every morning.
David was a man after God’s own heart…
WE ALL SIN, and fall short….
God I am asking , be grieved..
and with us and say…
“ ENOUGH WITHDRAW YOUR HAND “
I ask for favor with God and man today…..
I ask for mercy and grace today
I ask for healing
I ask for the deepest blessings
of desiring listen to YOU alone today…
of desiring to obey YOU alone today…
in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS….

“ENOUGH”
