Imitators…… 1 Thess. 1 6
” You became imitators of  us ….
and
of the LORD…..
7.  you became a model to all believers
8.  The message rang out from YOU….
your faith became known everywhere.”

I thot this a.m. of JESUS CHRIST…..again, all of HIS GLORY…
all of HIS power, love, compassion, wisdom, insight,
ALL ~ ALL~ ALL   …of who HE totally is…..

then covered with the skin of a baby……
the glory covered with SKIN….flesh….fingernails, hair…
the glory of GOD….. on earth…as it is in HEAVEN.

Totally flesh, Totally JESUS……HOLY, RIGHTEOUS…WISDOM .

They followed HIM….and think just HOW THE MESSAGE ” rang out”
while HE was on earth.
the speed of it …the depth of HIS message……

Yes, because it was literally JESUS CHRIST……
but then when HE left, Who did He leave with us and why ?

So that we can be ” IMITATORS OF JESUS”  vs. 6
and HE knew, we could
and HE knew, what would happen if we did
if we took it literally…..our faith in HIM, IN US…
would
become SIGHT……

HIS MESSAGE WOULD ” RING OUT”

Family….that know us
Friends …that know us
Co- workers…that know us

You catch them talking like you do,
your children, grandchildren……friends….

If they truly ” become imitators ” of us….
do they get the ” add on ”  …

1 Thess. 1: 6
” YOU BECAME……YOU BECAME imitators of
US and……..and JESUS CHRIST”

if you give a gift @ CHRISTmas…that needs batteries…
they are wrapped with the package….it is a packaged deal…

I pray , I pray, I pray….
not perfect, none of us…..
What will those around us imitate…?

If they truly imitate us….do they get JESUS…full strength?
do they get JESUS……
HE is in us…….packaged deal.

On earth as it is in HEAVEN….JESUS.
He left Him, gave HIM in our flesh ….
to IMITATE HIM….in all His glory
in all HIS power,
in all HIS LOVE……..

” then , then , then ……..
HIS MESSAGE  ( not ours )  will ring out”
