When we are asked what am I thankful for ?
What is your list ?

Jesus Christ
My salvation
My Mom + Dad
My kids, grandkids
My home
My life
My provisions
My health

This list is good….it is real…and we mean it…
We are even thanking the Lord for them….

But this year…. the Lord is embedding in me…

Just be thankful for ME and stop there….
Let that sink in…
Get saturated with it….
Don’t let your mind go anywhere else….

BE THANKFUL FOR JESUS CHRIST
BE THANKFUL FOR CHRIST ALONE and stop there….

The rest comes FROM HIM……
It is all created by HIM…each person in your family
from God
Your provision, health, family, salvation…
from GOD

So when YOU are thankful for ME…GOD/ Jesus / Holy Spirit….

It is all INCLUSIVE……

My thankfulness goes to MY SOURCE……
I want to spend the day, thankful for the LORD
I want to spend the day, thankful for Him leaving The Holy Spirit
I want to spend the day, in awe of GOD over all the universe..

James 1:17
” Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows. ”

EVERY….
EVERY….
EVERY…. good and perfect gift is from above…

coming down to who ? to me….
from the GOD of the HEAVENLY LIGHTS
HE created it all, HE is saying here….
” I , GOD, created it all….I am THAT FATHER…

HE created the Sun…the shadow of the SUN SHIFTS…
but the ONE who created the SUN…..NEVER SHIFTS !
NEVER SHIFTS….. NEVER SHIFTS….

In my list ~ ” what shifts ? ”

Jesus = no
Salvation = no
Mom + Dad = yes
Kids , Grandkids = yes
home = yes
life = yes
provisions = yes
health = yes
JESUS = NO, NO, NO….

So, ( I am thankful for the list )
but this year…GOD IS ” tattooing ”

James 1:17

Father of heavenly lights who never shifts…
The Source of life, is firm
The Father will always be with me
The Father, The Creator, Our GOD, LORD, SAVIOR….

Will never shift 1/4 of an inch of who HE IS…
Will never shift 1/8 of an inch of who HE IS…
Will never shift 1/16 of an inch of who HE IS…

Thankfulness goes straight to …
spot on, directly to The FATHER…
in HIS exact spot that HE has always been…
my entire LIFE…..

17 and pregnant – exactly there
deaths – exactly there
nothing happening in ministry – exactly there
greatest day of my life – exactly there
house full of family – exactly there
house empty of family – exactly there
over time – exactly there
retired – exactly there…..

HE IS MY FATHER, MY GOD,
MY ” NON SHIFTING…firm foundation ”
in who deserves all of my thankfulness today….

Jesus CHRIST ON THE CROSS…GOD NEVER MOVED.
