Watching our grandaughters take off to school…
   One for the 1st time….
   3 for another new year…..

Asking what do you like about this year ?
 Livi :  ” we have binders this year instead of alot of folders”
 Ava: ” didn’t know”  but there are no new kids…..etc.

Sitting at a stop sign as Morgan’s bus went by and she
was in the front seat.  She didn’t see Rock and I there.
Her face was full of joy…
Her smile was beaming…and she was just looking out her own little window.

Reesey – her 1st day….taking her blanky….the one thing that “could go with her”…
  from home….she has klinged to her Mommy anticipating this day.
She wore a shirt – “daddy’s girl forever” , to orientation….
and – on she got to her own bus for the first time.

Nina – will start Tuesday school at the end of the month…
   that teacher will be floored at her abilities….

And Bubby –  Angie taking him after the fanfare to find a “hoop”
  to let him know – HE TOO …is special…………

Their own individual lives…..
    It made me think …do we really think about what all this means to them ?
            What they are thinking about…what they are learning….their discussions
            with their friends…..their joys, their hurts…..

It put infront of me….the desire to look into others lives…and SEE & SEEK…
    What are they feeling…
    What do they need…
     How am I a part of that ~ or am I at all ?

What percentage of our thots today….tomorrow are on others ?
Do we watch others just go by and say , ” that is great…..”

These 6 matter to me….
   What about the ones beyond the 6 ?
And back to the 6……

How did JESUS make an impact on others ?
  He looked into their individual lives…..
  He looked into their individual needs, their joys , their sorrows…

Livi, Morgan, Ava
Reesey, Nina, and Tanner…….
