Reading this morning :

Phillippians 1: 15
” It is true that some…..
preach CHRIST….
out of envy
and rivalry,

But others out of good will.”

Are we “preaching Christ ”
out of envy – desiring to get something in return
proving something
desiring to be heard over
out of rivalry – pot stirring
for the sake of argumenting ( sp )
out of me against you
out of my beliefs verses yours

or as GOD intended….”good will”…

16. The latter do so IN LOVE,
Knowing that I am put here for the
DEFENSE OF THE GOSPEL.

out of SELFISH AMBITION,
not sincerely,
supposing that they can
STIR UP TROUBLE for me while I am
in chains.

Paul was literally going through the pain…
HE was the actual individual IN CHAINS for CHRIST…
“The actual” – preaching the Gospel to and for the actual
in the most humble…..
the most genuine…….
the most sincere way we can reach the LOST and HURTING
and being able to stand before God in
pureness of our spiritual conscious……..

whether from FALSE MOTIVES or TRUE…

CHRIST IS PREACHED, and because of this
I REJOICE.”
